To your organiser, the way it always has: cash, bank transfer or PayID. Clanira never holds or moves money; it records what you have paid in and what each session cost you, so the sums are never in dispute.
No. Clanira is free: no subscription, no in-app purchases, no paid version and no ads. Every feature is available to everyone. The only money involved is your own team's, moving between you and your organiser exactly as it did before. There is a limit on how many teams one person can lead at once, which keeps the service affordable for us to run; it is not something you can pay to remove.
Two things stop a Yes. Voting may have closed. Every team sets when it opens and shuts, and the session says which. Or your balance is under your team's minimum and that team is set to block voting rather than just remind you. Top up with your organiser and the Yes works straight away; nothing is charged for voting.
They're two different things. Short means your balance is still yours but under your team's minimum. Top up and you're set; nothing is overdue. You owe means session charges came to more than you'd put in, so your balance is below zero. Pay your organiser as usual and they record it; both clear the moment they do.
Because the court was booked on your Yes. Most teams charge no-shows by default, so the people who did play are not left covering a court that was hired for you. Your organiser can waive it when there is a reason to, and the session shows who was waived.
One pot, divided by time played. The cost is the court fee plus shuttles plus anything else your organiser adds. A full session counts as one share and half a session as half a share; the pot divides by the total, and each share is rounded up to the whole cent so that everyone who played the same time pays the same. The few cents that over-collects go to your team's pot, and your organiser can put them toward a later session. Guests are charged to the member who brought them, and a no-show is charged by default because the court was booked on their Yes.
Yes. Choose "I can only play half the session" when you vote, and you are charged half a share. The rest of the team pays slightly more, which the vote sheet shows you before you commit. Your organiser confirms who actually played what at settlement, and that is the version you are charged on.
Only the people in that team, and only from the day they joined. A new member never sees what was said before them. Each team has its own thread and nothing crosses between them. We do not read your messages, and a notification about a new one shows only the team's name, never who wrote it or what it said, so nothing appears on your lock screen that you would not want a stranger to read. If you are removed from a team you keep the conversation as it was the day you left, and nothing new reaches you.
Press and hold the message. You can report it to us: pick a reason, add anything we should know, and a person reviews it promptly, generally within 24 hours. You can also block that member, which stops their new messages reaching you; what they wrote before you blocked them stays, because in a team that shares money those messages are often the record of who agreed to pay for what. Blocking is just about chat: they stay on the roster and in the books. Anyone can delete their own message, and your organiser can remove anybody's, and everyone then sees "Message removed" where it was. If it is serious, email hello@clanira.app.
Ask your organiser to remove you. They settle your balance as they do it, paying out what you are owed, or writing off what you owe, so nobody leaves with money unaccounted for. You cannot remove yourself, and that is deliberate: it would mean signing off your own balance.
Open the member you want to hand to, make them the organiser, and ask them to remove you. There is a moment where the team has two organisers. That is on purpose, so it is never left with none. Your own balance is settled by the new organiser, the same as anyone else leaving.
In the app, go to Profile, tap Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm. If you no longer have the app, email privacy@clanira.app from the address you sign in with, and we will delete it for you within 30 days. You do not need to reinstall anything. Deleting removes your name, your email address and your sign-in, and takes you out of every team. Your team’s ledger entries and the messages you wrote stay, because other members’ balances and conversations depend on them, but your name on them becomes “Former member”. Both stay for as long as the team exists. Copies of your details in our backups are deleted within 90 days. Two things have to be sorted first: any money you are owed or owe in a team, which your organiser settles with you, and being the only organiser of a team, which you hand over to someone else.
Yes, some of it. Press and hold a message you wrote in team chat and tap Remove message: its text is deleted for everyone, not hidden, and cannot be recovered. If you organise a team, clear Where to pay in the team’s settings and those payment details are deleted. Your votes, your attendance and the amounts recorded against you stay, because your team’s sessions and balances depend on them; they are kept for as long as the team exists. Copies in our backups are deleted within 90 days. For anything else, email privacy@clanira.app from the address you sign in with, and we will tell you within 30 days what we can delete.
Write to hello@clanira.app and say what you were doing when it went wrong. Replies are usually a day or two.
